Erhard Flint leaving the management board of Bau-Verein zu Hamburg Aktien-Gesellschaft

(Hamburg, April 2, 2009) Bau-Verein zu Hamburg Aktien-Gesellschaft wishes to announce that Erhard Flint has left its management board effective March 31, 2009.

In his capacity as a member of the management board, Mr. Flint had been overseeing the company´s new construction, portfolio development and sales activities since October 2001. The supervisory board and the management board wish to thank Mr. Flint for his contribution and are pleased that he will continue to advise the company.

In response to current market conditions, Bau-Verein adjusted its business focus within the segments which it addresses in 2008. As a result, all construction business and activities were reduced and no new construction projects were commenced in the 2nd half of 2008.

Bau-Verein zu Hamburg Aktien-Gesellschaft´s management board now comprises Andreas Ibel and Hans-Ulrich Sutter.
