Today, the company Bau-Verein zu Hamburg Aktien-Gesellschaft and one of its subsidiaries acquired a large, high-yield residential property portfolio from Versorgungsanstalt des Bundes und der Länder (VBL), a public utility. No comment was available on the extent of the purchase price.
The portfolio comprises 1,250 residential units with a total rented floor space of approx. 82,000 m2 in various locations. Regional points of concentration are Hamburg, Berlin and the Rhine/Main region. The properties are distinguished by attractive cash flows and provide good potential for portfolio development measures.
