Stock market debut

- The Hamburg Stock Exchange
2001
In May 2001, the principal shareholders sell a majority of their shareholding to TAG Tegernsee Immobilien- und Beteiligungs-AG (TAG), which now holds 44.4% of the shares in Bau-Verein zu Hamburg Aktiengesellschaft. In December, TAG submits a voluntary public takeover offer to the shareholders. After this transaction has been completed, TAG holds 87.9% of the share capital of Bau-Verein zu Hamburg Aktiengesellschaft.
1999
After the stock market flotation in 1998, restructuring activities and final separation from the Wünsche Group are completed with the remaining 48% of the shares sold to three Dutch investors and internationally experienced property investors. The realignment of the company as a focused and profitable portfolio development company geared to the long term is the most important prerequisite for placing the shares with new owners.
1998
1998 is an important year in the history of the company as it is floated on the stock market. This move opens up exciting new perspectives as an independent property company with a stock-market listing. At the end of 1998, more than 52% of the shares are in free float.
